How to Cancel or Pause Your Subscription

When you cancel your subscription you will lose your phone number and A2P registration status.

When you pause your subscription you can keep your phone number and A2P registration status active. The cost to pause your account is $5.00/month. You will not be able to send messages while your account is paused. However, you can start sending messages again at any time by re-subscribing to a plan.

To cancel or pause your subscription:

  1. In the TextSpot application, go to the top right and select "My Account"
    ​

  2. A dropdown menu will show you a "My Subscription" option. Select this option.
    ​

  3. Here you can either cancel your subscription or pause your subscription.
    ​

If you cancel your subscription you will lose your phone number and carrier registration status.

If you plan on using TextSpot again in the future, we highly recommend pausing your account. Pausing your account allows you to:

  • Keep your current phone number.

  • Keep your A2P registration status active so you don't have to re-apply with carriers.
