Updated over a week ago

With Integrations through Zapier you can automate workflows between 7,000+ apps and TextSpot.

To use this feature, follow these steps:

  1. Select "Integrations" on the left side of the TextSpot app under "Connect."

  2. Here you'll need to log in or sign up for Zapier. Once you log in to Zapier, you will see your current workflows and integrations, a way to connect your apps, and popular workflows among users.

Follow along with this getting started video:

A one-time API key is needed in order to start integrating your favorite apps. To do this, follow these steps.

Make sure that you have already logged into Zapier.

  1. Select "API Tokens" on the left side of the TextSpot app under "Connect."

  2. Select "Generate New Token"

  3. A new token will be generated and highlighted green in the "Personal Access Tokens" table. Click the "copy button" to copy the token.

  4. After copying, navigate back to "Integrations" on the left side of the TextSpot app under "Connect."

  5. Select "Create Zap"

  6. Select "Trigger" or "Action" depending on what automation and integration you are setting up. When you select one, a list of apps appears. You may have to search for TextSpot.

  7. After selecting TextSpot from the apps list, you will need to select an event.

The drop-down will provide you with a list of events or actions that occur based on the application you have selected and whether it will be a trigger/action.

In this example, I am creating an event that happens in TextSpot when a recipient clicks on a link in a text.

  8. After selecting an event, click "Continue"

  9. After selecting continue, you will be prompted to log in and a pop-up should appear requesting the API key. A new tab may also open instead.

  10. Paste your API Key and select "Yes, Continue to TextSpot"

  11. You can now continue to integrate your apps into TextSpot.
